Become a Proficiency Ambassador

Wayside Publishing is excited to announce the launch of its Proficiency Ambassadors program!

We created this program to build lasting relationships with passionate world language educators and to bring together a growing community of those excited about proficiency. We aim to spotlight the achievements of forward-thinking teachers and support world language education in the classroom and beyond.

If you identify as someone dedicated to improving and promoting world language education, we would love to welcome you to our program!

To join our program, you’ll need:

• To be using or implementing a Wayside Publishing program (with a print and digital class set or a digital only class set)
• A passion for or curiosity about proficiency-driven practices
• A desire to share your journey through print and video blog posts, social media posts, and photos

Proficiency Ambassadors spread awareness throughout the year by contributing posts to our Proficiency Talks blog, providing photos and videos of their proficiency teaching in action, and sharing Wayside Publishing content through social media. We want to know how you spread the word on proficiency-driven teaching. The possibilities for collaboration are endless!

If you are interested in joining our community, we would love to connect with you and learn more about your classroom. Wayside Publishing will provide compensation to teachers for their participation in the program. Current ambassadors continuing with the program for another year will be given preferred status on future applications. Please email Lucy Blount should you or your department have any questions.
